Ealing Council in West London is using hidden CCTV cameras to spy on residents regarding the day they put out their bins for collection.
Presumably, the cameras are intended to "catch people committing 'major envirocrimes' such as graffiti and fly-tipping on main roads", however it appears that homeowners who put their bins out on the wrong day are also under surveillance. Read the full story in the Telegraph.
