Britain is to have a national network of cameras and computers that will automatically log and track car license plates, in a move said to be "secretive and unregulated." The system, according to BBC, will be up and running within months.
Local councils countrywide are preparing to have their existing CCTV systems connected to the network. It is suggested that any camera can be adapted to work with the new software providing resolution quality meets minimum requirements.
Police forces across England, Wales, and Scotland will soon be able to share the information on one central computer.
Alleged "undesirables" such as anti-war protesters have already had their cars logged by police and added to a central "hotlist".
Already, some innocent folk, who happen to dislike war, have been pulled over by so called anti-terror police and bombarded with numerous questions following a warning that refusal to cooperate will result in arrest under the Terrorism Act of 2006.
