Ritalin - Legal Speed
Methylphenidate hydrochloride (MH) is a drug used to treat ADHD in children and adults. Common names include Concerta, Rubifen, Methylin, Attenta, Metadate, Equasym and, most commonly, Ritalin. MH is related to Amphetamine Sulphate - a psychostimulant and appetite supressant, which is often used as a street drug (speed, whizz, billy, fast, crank, fet). Not surprisingly some eating disorders are linked to Ritalin use. Ritalin is being used as a street drug by teenagers: Crush it up and snort it, like speed.

Today, many prescription drugs on the market are household names. In the US, it's practically impossible to watch TV without being bombarded by half a dozen or more drug ads in one evening.
In 2001 Pfizer was the most profitable of all the fortune 500 companies, earning a phenomenal 7.8 billion U.S. dollars, thus it would appear that modern medicine is no longer about health, rather a profit making industry that relies on millions of people getting sick and staying sick.
According to Dr. Mercola of the Natural Health Center in Chicago, Illinois, at least 106,000 Americans die each year from adverse drug reactions. A mere 6 percent of all adverse drug reactions are properly identified.
Most side effects from drugs are instead mistaken for new disease symptoms leading to further drugging and unnecessary medical procedures, increasing the risk of death even further.
An American called Alan Yurko was imprisoned for life having been wrongly accused of abusing his baby son, the presumed cause of his son's tragic death. His child, even though born prematurely, was given multiple vaccines on the same day. No doctor or pharmaceutical company was willing to admit fault. Mr. Yurko has subsequently been vindicated and released from prison.
Reports suggest the HPV drugs Gardasil and Cervarix may produce side effects such as numbness, convulsions, epilepsy, paralysis and immune deficiencies among other things, although as yet, no firm link has been made.
